The Great Lakes Off Road Racing Association provides crowd pleasing offroad racing action.
The vehicles are small single seat buggies with high power to weight ratios and large
amounts of suspension travel for off road bumps and jumps. They are sometimes reffered to as
offroad superlites, stadium lites and off road midgets.
The drivers are held securely in the vehicles
by safety harnesses and are protected by racing apparel. Because of the protection provided by
these cars over motorcyles or typical ATVs, many drivers push themselves and their cars to extreme limits.
